Tonight, our pastors and the Crux leadership team shared with parents and students about where God is taking this ministry in the season to come. Pastor Avery shared with everyone what God is doing in his life and how he will be transitioning out his role and into a new season for his family.

“We wanted to share some exciting news with you! After much prayer and discernment, our family has decided to transition from our current position on staff as the City Church Students and Family pastor to pursue a new opportunity in the tech field. God has been calling us to make an impact in our own family and to use innovative technologies to bring light into dark places and make an impact in the world. While we are sad, we trust that God is leading us towards new opportunities for growth and service. We are excited to embark on this new journey and look forward to seeing what God has in store for us, we are remaining a part of the City Church family and look forward to seeing our church family grow from a new perspective. Thank you for your support and prayers as we navigate this transition. We are grateful for each of you and the role you play in our lives.” - Avery Rodriguez

The Rodriguez family has done an incredible job leading this ministry and they will be missed. However, we are excited about their journey ahead! Would you join us in prayer for the their transition and blessings for their family?

We also know that, during transitions, the best strategy to eliminate chaos is great communication! With that in mind, we want to provide you with some insight on how we will be empowering the Crux Leadership Team to keep this ministry running full speed ahead.
