City Church Building
1832 Robinson Ave
Our services are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:30AM
Park on either side of our building. The entrance to our large parking lot is on Mitchell Street! Our parking team is friendly and will help you find an available spot.
For special holiday weekends, like Easter and Christmas Eve, we utilize Conway Junior High’s parking lot and offer a shuttle service for overflow parking.
Please feel free to come however you feel most comfortable. You will see a range of attire from slacks and dresses to jeans and t-shirts!
We do! We have an incredible kids ministry called Kid City that meets every weekend during both services. Kid City is open to children from birth through fifth grade, and all volunteers have been thoroughly background checked and trained for your child’s safety! This is not babysitting, this is children’s ministry so your child will learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way!
We prioritize songs that are biblically accurate, theologically rich, and are easy for the congregation to sing. This includes a mixture of old and new hymns and songs. All songs are chosen intentionally to shape our minds and hearts to treasure Christ above all things.
Each month we update our Spotify playlist with the songs we plan to sing. Feel free to save this playlist and listen to the songs in advance if you would like to familiarize yourself with the music!
Before getting baptized at City Church, you will meet with someone on our team to share about your faith and why you want to be baptized! If you are interested in setting up a meeting to discuss baptism, fill out the form at citychurch.tv/baptism.
What do I wear?
We provide a black t-shirt to be baptized in, and most people choose to wear swim trunks or athletic shorts underneath. If you want to wear slip-on shoes, those will be the easiest to take on and off during the baptism!
What should I bring?
Bring whatever clothes/shoes/accessories you want to change into after your baptism! We recommend bringing your own towel and a bag for wet clothes, but we do have extra towels if you forget or need a second towel!
Can anyone come backstage with me?
Of course! It is a small space, so we recommend just one person backstage with you if you do choose to bring someone with you! Children always have a parent backstage with them who can help them in the dressing room afterwards.
Can I get the photos taken of me?
City Church aims to have a volunteer photographer present at every baptism! Photos taken during the baptism will be sent out within a few days!
Child dedication is offered twice a year: once in the fall and once in the spring. If you want to meet our children’s ministry director or have your child dedicated at our next dedication service, e-mail info@citychurch.tv.
We ask that those who want to become covenant members attend our Next Steps Class. This is a four week class, and we offer it three times a year! The first week is a dinner at one of our elder’s homes, and the following three weeks are during the our Sunday Service at the City Church building. In each class, you will learn the mission and vision of City Church, hear about opportunities to serve and find community, and at the end of the class you will become a Family Covenant Member of City Church.
Check out citychurch.tv/dream-team for opportunities to get involved at City Church!
We would encourage you to attend the Next Steps class and consider joining a City Group and/or volunteering on the Dream Team. You can also check out the Sisterhood or Brotherhood ministries to hear about any upcoming events!
